this information in one place makes it easy to report back to boards and demonstrate
the progress of tasks - or barriers to progress.
iTEM provides that high level of visibility for projects, staff and suppliers. With
larger teams and increased numbers of stakeholders, audit trails and clear reporting
become increasingly important to people who might not be directly involved in a
project but have an interest in it. Managing a large number of staff and monitoring
their day to day activities, reporting on time and achievements – this is what iTEM
does.
Large corporations often have established IT systems utilising all the benefits
of applications like Microsoft Outlook, Sage and even networks. iTEM has not been
designed to replace these systems, but to extend them and integrate with them seamlessly.
Training in new applications can be tiresome and a big overhead. iTEM’S ability
to integrate with existing platforms limits the extent of “new knowledge” required
to use it, so that it is as simple as emailing.
